With Independence Day just days away, we have put together a list of some fun Valley events you might want to check out. Be safe and enjoy!

SCOTTSDALE

On Saturday, July 2, you’re invited to celebrate the 4th of July at WestWorld. “Be Red, White and Cool,” as you enjoy West World’s festivities under 300,000 square feet of air conditioned comfort! This is an event the entire family can enjoy with live music, a bull-riding rodeo, food and drinks, and a kids zone. Gates will open at 3pm and the fireworks take off at 9pm. TEMPE

Tempe Town Lake Festival: Join thousands for lakeside festivities on the lawn! Enjoy food, live music, an inflatable playground for the kids and so much more. Gates open at 5pm and the fireworks show will begin at 9:15pm. Tickets will be $5 at the gate, but note that children 12 and under have free admission. Visit http://tempe4th.com/ for details.

PHOENIX

Fabulous Phoenix Fourth: Come to Steele Indian School Park for a free event featuring local entertainers, a variety of vendors offering festival-style food and beverages, arts and crafts, interactive exhibits and a classic car display. Your little ones will love Kids World which will consist of youth activities, rides and inflatables, and a water spray zone. PEORIA

4th of July All American Festival: Multiple stages will be set-up at the Peoria Sports Complex with entertainment for you and the whole family to enjoy. Kids will have a blast at the Kids Zone, Water Zones, and a cornhole tournament and food eating contest are sure to keep everyone on their toes. Concessions and beer will be available as well. Fireworks start at 9:15pm but you can plan to arrive as early as 5pm. Admission is $10 and kids 12 and under will be admitted for free. You can also count on free parking! GLENDALE

Westgate Firework Fest: Head out to Westgate Entertainment District for a free, fun-filled evening that is sure to not disappoint! Activities will include live music, great “grab and go” dinner deals, a beer garden, and kid friendly events such as face painting, games and prizes. SURPRISE

33rd Annual 4th of July Celebration: What better way to celebrate America than with baseball and fireworks! Head out to Surprise Stadium for the Rookie League baseball game, gates open at 4:30 at the game starts at 5:30p.m. After the game, enjoy a fireworks show at 8:30pm. CHANDLER

4th of July Fireworks Spectacular: Tumbleweed Park will be hosting a traditional fireworks show at 9pm this Fourth of July. You can plan to arrive as early as 4 pm and pay a $5 dollar parking fee (per vehicle, cash only). The event will feature live music, a photo booth and fun activities for kids of all ages. FOUNTAIN HILLS

Fourth at the Fountain: Fountain Park will be treating its guests to live entertainment and prizes and giveaways, along with food and beverages.
