Living at Cortesa

Unlike any other 55+ community in SoCal, the Gavilán community offers the best in resort-style amenities. As a resident at Cortesa, you will have access to these exclusive social hubs, pools, parks, and clubhouses:

The BBQ Barn. This is a great spot to host a summer barbecue outdoors. This space includes cooking counters, bocce ball, and a cozy firepit.

The Getaway. This quaint clubhouse is perfect for getting out of the house and catching up with friends in the community, with comfortable seating available both indoors and outdoors.

The Outlook. Want to watch the big game with the whole crew? Come to The Outlook where there’s TV, a barbecue, a lap pool, a firepit, and shady cabanas.

The Hacienda. Need somewhere to cool off when the temps get to too high? Take a dip in the beautiful pool, and enjoy a cocktail with friends at the Palomino bar. You can also stay active by visiting the fitness center!

If Cortesa sounds like the ideal neighborhood to lay down some roots, we invite you to explore our quick move-in homes in person! Learn more about the floorplans and availability HERE.

During your visit, make sure to ask our Community Representatives about our Contingency Program! The team at Shea Homes SoCal is dedicated to making this a smooth and stress-free process. If you have any questions or concerns, we’re here to help you every step of the way!

We look forward to seeing you in the neighborhood this summer.

My wife and I are interested in a Shea Homes Community rather in a 55 age plus complex or a Townhome community. Will be working in downtown LA and want to be close to use the Metro Link to get to work. Empty Nesters so a 2-3 bedroom with tow baths is fine. Thanks for any help. Tom Houska

Hello Thomas,

Thanks for your question. We do have a townhome community called Skylark located in La Habra, if you are looking at Orange County. It is approximately 5 miles to two different Metrolink stations from the community. Here’s the link for you: Skylark by Shea Homes. Please let us know if we can answer additional questions about this or any other Shea Homes communities for you. We’re here 7 days a week at: 866.696.7432. Thank you!
