Origen (again) in the national spotlight

by Jennifer Ivy on June 11, 2013

Last week, over 8,000 builders and real estate professionals gathered in San Diego from around the world. They came to recharge their batteries, update their best practices, analyze industry trends, and honor the best-of-the-best in the home building business.

When the Pacific Coast Builders Conference (PCBC) handed out their equivalent of the “Oscars” last Wednesday night, Origen at Civita nabbed a Gold Nugget Grand Award. Recognized as the nation’s top project in the multi-family housing category (18-30 units per acre), the judges said:

• “Everyone wins with this exciting contemporary architecture and landscape rich plan.”

This year, the Gold Nugget competition drew 533 entries in 49 categories, showcasing residential projects big and small, developed or built in the United States or around the world.

Also during PCBC last week, Origen hosted a group of over 50 builders, who spent hours in the skyLoft and socialGarden models, taking pictures and digging into the details.

Once again, we are honored to be a case study.
