The Big Picture Comes into Frame+Focus

by Shea Homes San Diego on August 12, 2013

San Diego residents will soon discover a new way of urban living at Shea Homes’ latest community: Frame + Focus.  We are following up our acclaimed project, Origen, with new townhomes that appeal to first time-home buyers and families.

The big, unique draws to these homes? Frame will feature private yards attached to each unit, while Focus will lead the entry-level price point for all Citiva communities, says Paul Barnes, President of Shea Homes San Diego.

Elevated on a hillside and capturing an unexpected coastal breeze, Frame + Focus was designed to promote ground floor access to the outdoors. What does it mean, in practical terms? Well, when you park in your garage and are loaded with groceries, you walk right into the kitchen and living area. Most of the household action stays on the first floor.

Our designers call it “horizontal living,” in contrast to the three- and four-story vertical design just down the hill at Origen. When you have kids, or maybe you’d just prefer to minimize your steps, this might be the better option for you.

On top of that, we are breaking the mold on new fits and finishes that will come standard in every home. You’ll be able to see the difference in our innovative designs that started with Origen and now continue with Frame + Focus.

Watch the video below and hear what Paul himself has to say about the new project.
