Shea Homes Model Now Underway in Sienna Plantation

Shea Homes, which recently entered the Texas market, will make its Fort Bend County debut this spring in the Village of Sawmill Lake, Sienna Plantation’s newest village.

Shea Homes, the nation’s second-largest privately owned home builder, will open a new model home in April and offer new homes on 35 home sites starting in the high $300’s. “We’re thrilled to make Village of Sawmill Lake our first Fort Bend community,” said Keith Luechtefeld, division president for Shea Homes Houston. “Sienna Plantation has been synonymous with quality and we’re certainly looking forward to carrying on that tradition.”

Luechtefeld adds Shea Homes will offer 14, two-story plans with three elevation options – Hill Country, Texas Traditional and Tuscan – and several builder options new to the market.

Shea Homes’ buyers can choose from optional features new to the market including stackable sliding glass panels, which open the spacious great room and dining space into a gorgeous, wrap-around porch with serving bar creating continuous indoor and outdoor entertainment space.

Named after the historic sawmills which operated on the property in the mid 1800’s, the Village of Sawmill Lake will offer 500 home sites along with a new Fort Bend ISD elementary and middle school scheduled to open in 2017.  A new amenity center is planned to open in 2016 along the banks of Sawmill Lake in the northeast corner of the village.

I’d would like to take the time to thank Chuck out at the Sienna Plantation model home. He has been a lot of help since the first time we visited with him. My wife and I told him from the very beginning on how we were interested in seeing the model home and everything Shea has to offer. We also mentioned to him how we were really waiting on the Meridiana location to open up so we could purchase a Shea home. I made sure that I didn’t offend him or make him feel like it was a waste of time helping us, but Chuck did not budge one bit. He answered all of our questions without showing signs of being inconvenienced. We appreciated that from the very beginning on how sincere he was with us. He went as far as asking us if we had any questions that he should ask his immediate boss regarding details of Meridiana, that their was going above and beyond of what we expected. If your organization continues to hire employees like Chuck, this will certainly will continue to put your homes a cut above the rest.
