A Shea Homes Mini Hero: Mike Kreil

by Shea Homes Arizona on November 9, 2011

This week, we are excited to announce a new Shea Homes Mini Hero! Congratulations to Mike Kreil, Project Superintendent at Old Stone Ranch.

On January 4th, Mike will celebrate six years working with Shea Homes. As a Project Superintendent, Mike oversees the construction of each home in all three Old Stone Ranch communities. He is a great hard worker and takes pride in everything he does. As the group who nominated him put it, “Our homeowners love working with him and have the utmost confidence in him.”

Outside of work, Mike is a devoted husband to a wife who he says “keeps him out of trouble” and a father to two sons and a daughter. Mike is also in the final year of his bachelors program at the University of Phoenix, studying business management and plans to continue into the masters program once he finishes. He says that although “It takes many, many, many late nights to balance work, school, and family life… when I graduate my two youngest kids will be in high school, so I hope that they will be inspired by my efforts.”

“I was born on a small island,” he says about his laid back demeanor despite many responsibilities. “I lost my father at a young age and that made me appreciate life for what it is. I try not to get stressed out over the little things because in the long run everything works out. That’s island mentality.”

At Shea Homes, we are blessed to have a hard worker and admirable family man like Mike and we are thankful for his dedication to building great relationships with our homeowners and everyone else around him.

Mike and his family are also great neighbors, always willing to help out.
You couldn’t ask for better people to live next door to you.
