Shea Values—How teamwork benefits home buyers

by Shea Homes Arizona on June 22, 2011

Teamwork is the ability to work together toward a common vision. The ability to direct individual accomplishments toward organizational objectives. It is the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results.  – Andrew Carnegie

“Uncommon results”—that is what Shea Homes has always aimed for.  In everything we do, we want to stand out as the most respected home builder in the nation.

As a home builder, Shea has always taken a great deal of pride in the superior quality of each of our homes.  However, we know that this kind of quality doesn’t just happen on its own. It takes not only dedication to precision, but also dedication to constant and accurate communication among the many people who work to build each home.

The facts are that without a coordination of efforts from hundreds of people every day, Shea Homes would not be able to achieve any results, let alone, notable ones.  Each day, community representatives, project managers, construction superintendents, TradePartners, and many other groups come together to build homes.

As Cathy, one of our community representatives, noted in this week’s video, communication between all of these entities benefits the homebuyer in significant ways.  First, it means that as a home buyer, you can rest easy, knowing that your plans and preferences will be communicated accurately and consistently. Secondly, good communication makes working with anyone on our team easy and productive, so you know that you can count on any of our community representatives to address your questions and concerns.

Teamwork is one of our primary values here at Shea Homes, and our hope is that it will help give each home buyer a great experience as we work together to build their home.
