Ten things to do in Phoenix

Here are a few things around Phoenix that we’re excited to check out in the next several weeks. We hope this will help as you plan some fun family activities this fall. 

Every Thursday –     Scottsdale Art Walk on Main Street. Check out this great weekly tour of Old Town Scottsdale art galleries. 

Every Saturday and Sunday –       Busy Bones Workshop at Arizona Science Center. Perfect for kids ages 6+, this workshop explores how our bones help our body work they way it does. 

Sept. 21                 Phoenix Coyotes vs. LA Kings at Jobing.com Arena 

Sept. 23-25        Diamondbacks vs. S.F. Giants at Chase Field 

Sept. 26-28        Diamondbacks vs. LA Dodgers at Chase Field 

Sept. 27-Oct 2  West Side Story at ASU Gammage. More than 50 years ago one musical changed theater forever. Now it’s back and mesmerizing audiences once again. From the first note to the final breath, WEST SIDE STORY soars as the one of the greatest love stories of all time. 

Oct. 7                     Experience a variety of artists’ work at the nation’s largest, self-guided art walk, Art Link First Fridays at various galleries Downtown. 

Oct. 7                    Take the kids to explore at the Children’s Museum of Phoenix on Free First Friday Nights

Oct. 7-9                Tempe Town Lake will host the Way Out West Oktoberfest where families can take part in the carnival and enjoy traditional German cuisine and adults can enjoy a sampling of German beers. 

Oct. 7-9                Experience ethnic cuisine, cooking demos, cathedral tours, folk dancers, authentic regional costumes, artifacts, entertainment for only $2 per person at the Greater Phoenix Greek Festival at Speros Community Center.
