Thankful for…

by Shea Homes Arizona on November 23, 2011

At the Shea Homes office in Scottsdale, AZ, we have a tradition of sharing what we’re thankful for. Each year, we have put pumpkins around the office and decorate them like a turkey. As the month of November goes on, everyone in the office has the chance to write out something they are thankful for on one of the turkeys’ feathers…it’s a little silly, but we love it. Below are a few things we’re thankful for this year.

    • Health, Friends, Family
    • For the service men and women past and present.  For my friends and family and for my job.
    • My brother and sister-in-law survived the earthquake in Christchurch this year.
    • That I love my job and the people I work with.
    • My job, my managers and coworkers and the culture of kindness that is so pervasive here at Shea.
    • For my wife, kids, our health, for the country we live in, and the opportunities we have.
    • For prayers answered – my daughter was accepted in to nursing school.
    • To have reconnected with my family.
    • That I can help other during this economy.
    • Our soldiers who risk their lives for our safety and freedom.
    • The awesome Shea team members we work with.
    • That we live in the land of the free, because of the brave.
    • My family and all military personnel for giving their lives and family time so we may live our lives here safely.
    • Spending time with my family & friends from the East coast.
    • Family – near or far.
    • Love.
    • For God’s grace & mercy, wonderful friends & family, and for this season of sharing with others.
    • The perspective of my 6 year old daughter.
    • My children & grandchildren are healthy and happy.
    • For all of our wonderful TradePartners who donate their time and money for our annual Phoenix Youth at Risk Christmas party.
    • My wonderful family, my good health, loyal friends, and being able to say “I’m an American”!
    • Casual Fridays.
    • For all my crossword puzzle buddies.

We’re also thankful for YOU! Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at Shea Homes!
