Shea Homes is celebrating the Grand Opening of two new furnished, model homes in the new Katy community of Cane Island.
On Saturday and Sunday, March 5 and 6, guests are invited to stop by the new Shea model homes from 1 to 5 pm and enjoy a free dessert bar and crepe station. While there, visitors can also register to win an Apple iPad Mini 4, no purchase necessary. Shea Homes in Cane Island include one- and two-story plans that feature 3 to 6 bedrooms, 3.5 to 5.5 baths and 3- and even 4-car garages. A variety of options are available on all plans, which offer Spanish Territorial, French Country, or Texas Traditional elevations. Homes are priced from the $430,000s to $530,000s.
The first model is Plan 6040. This two-story, five-bedroom home features a Spanish Territorial elevation that includes stucco, brick and a Spanish tile roof. The entrance includes a beautiful open air courtyard with a fireplace perfect for entertaining. The interior of the home features a wine grotto with a wrought iron gate, soaring ceilings with stained wood beams, a study, a dining room, and a downstairs guest bedroom. The upstairs includes three bedrooms, a game room and a media room with an entertaining bar that is a must-see.
The second model, Plan 6015, offers four first-floor bedrooms, each of which has its own private bathroom, plus a powder bath, all on the first floor. Other first floor features include a large island kitchen, a two-story great room with soaring ceilings and stained wood beams, and double French doors that lead to an oversized outdoor living area. The staircase off of the two-story high study leads to a large bonus room, wet bar, and half-bath upstairs. The French country elevation includes classic stucco exterior and wood garage doors.
