Shea Homes Offers Mortgage Assistance for Low- to Moderate Income San Diegans

by Jennifer Ivy on July 26, 2012

A new program available through Shea Homes is helping low- to moderate-income San Diegans realize the dream of new home ownership. Don’t have the money for a down-payment? Shea is now participating in a home buying assistance program that offers the following assistance to qualified individuals:

• Total financing of up to 99.5% of the price of a new home in San Diego

• Fixed interest rate on a 30-year FHA loan

• Help with down payment and closing costs via low, fixed-rate second loan

The California Homebuyers Fund (CHF) is intended to serve families and individuals who can afford a mortgage loan but do not have the resources for the down payment and closing costs. The program applies to owner-occupied residences only and is not limited to first-time new homebuyers. Income restrictions apply. For eligibility and underwriting specifics, please contact Shea Mortgage for more information at 858-526-6615.

Hello,

We will have an affordable housing program at Bay Meadows. Since the community is not yet open, we don’t have the pricing or guidelines yet but do know that we will have 9 affordable units available. Thank you!
