Shea Homes to release 33 new homes across five San Diego communities on April 6

by Jennifer Ivy on April 3, 2013

In response to a surge in demand for new homes in San Diego, Shea Homes will respond with an unprecedented countywide release of 33 new homes this Saturday, April 6.

“This is a remarkable sign of confidence in San Diego’s new housing market and is in stark contrast to the way we’ve been operating for the past five years,” said Vanessa Linn, vice president of sales and marketing for Shea Homes San Diego. “Since 2008, phase releases have been scaled back to just a handful at a time. But consumers are back in our sales offices, ready to buy. This Saturday’s release is in direct response to that aggressive level of demand.”

Communities releasing new homes this weekend include:

Aria at Bella Lago in Chula Vista, where four-to-seven bedroom homes are priced from the high $600,000s.

Mosaic at Lomas Verdes in Chula Vista, offering 2-3 bedroom attached homes from the high $200,000s.

Origen skyLoft at Civita, recently honored as the nation’s Neighborhood of the Year, skyLoft at Civita represents a new wave of urban architecture with townhomes priced from the high $400,000s.

Origen socialGarden at Civita, the sister community to Origen skyLoft offers slightly larger courtyard style townhomes from the high $400,000s.

Voscana in Carlsbad, where three and four bedroom condominiums range from the mid $400,000s.

Shea Homes, an independent member of the Shea family of companies, is the oldest and largest family-owned homebuilder in the United States. Last year, for the second year in a row, Shea Homes has earned the prestigious J.D. Power Customer Service Champion recognition, one of only 50 companies to earn such a distinction in 2012. Honored in the company of such respected brands as Apple, Lexus, Four Seasons Hotels and Southwest Airlines, Shea Homes is one of only two American homebuilders to receive this recognition.
