Honoring our Heroes

by Shea Homes Arizona on November 10, 2017

Honoring our Heroes on Veteran's DayToday, we gather to honor, thank and remember the women and men who have defended our freedom and country, those who have selflessly served to keep us safe. Today, we remember to celebrate and to thank our heroes every day.

The Heroes Reward Program is just one small way we at Shea Homes® Arizona show our appreciation to those who are currently serving and those who have served the Unites States of America. The program provides our heroes with a 1% base price credit toward the purchase of a new Shea Home in Arizona. This special offer is also available to teachers, active or retired police officers, and active or retired firefighters.

The redemption process for the Shea Homes Heroes Reward Program is simple:

  1. Eligible active or retired military, teachers, police officers and firefighters print out a certificate, available here: http://bit.ly/HeroReward
  2. Participants fill out the form, and on the first visit, present it to their Shea Homes Community Representative, along with proof of current or previous employment.
  3. The 1% incentive is applied toward the base price of a new Shea home (program not valid at Trilogy or Encanterra communities).

If you or someone you know qualifies for the Heroes Reward Program, we invite you to come tour one of our Shea Homes communities around the Valley and see for yourself what it means to “Live the difference.”
Heroes RewardWe would also like to invite you and your family to join us and the Arizona Cardinals today for a free event from 12 – 2 p.m. at our new community, Compass at Recker Pointe in Gilbert (1850 S Follett Way, Gilbert, AZ 85295). The event includes free food, entertainment, photos with Big Red and autographs with Arizona Cardinals Cheerleaders and Arizona Cardinals Defensive Lineman, Josh Mauro. Shea Homes Arizona family division is proud to offer an exclusive home purchase credit to active and retired military. This special offer is also extended to teachers, active or retired police officers, and active or retired firefighters.

The Shea Homes Heroes Reward Program provides a 1% base price credit toward the purchase of a new Shea Home to recognize and thank the efforts of our community’s military, teachers, police officers and firefighters.

The redemption process for the Shea Homes Heroes Reward Program is quite simple. Here’s how it works:

  • Eligible active or retired military, teachers, police officers and firefighters print out a certificate, available here.
  • Participants fill out the form, and present it to their Shea Homes community representative, along with proof of current or previous employment.
  • The 1% credit is applied toward the base price of a new Shea home.

Retired Marine Rich Bauchert recently participated in the Shea Homes Heroes Reward Program when he purchased a new home at the Shea Homes Marbella Vineyards community in Gilbert. Bauchert says the 1% credit helped tip the scales in his purchase decision.

“It was a fantastic process,” said Bauchert. “We found the house and closed in 18 days. The Shea folks here at the center and through the whole process were great.” Bauchert said a quick closing process meant he could move his wife, 18 and 14 year-old sons and Jack Russell terriers out of a crammed apartment and into their new home before the school year started. “We’re super picky. We love this house. It’s great. We just finished our pool. I can’t say enough about the Shea staff here at Marbella Vineyards.”
