There’s plenty to see at the Peoria Labor Day Parade & Picnic! The event will begin with a parade at 10 a.m. in front of the fire station on Monroe Street and food and beverages will be served at Riverfront Festival Park until 2 p.m. For more information, visit:


Stay cool while giving your kids a day full of fun at the Labor Day Party at Great Skate in Glendale on Monday, September 4th. Two time slots are available: from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. or 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., where your family can enjoy pizza, games and nonstop skating fun. For more information, visit: 


Let the skating fun continue with a Labor Day Skate Party at USA’s Skateland in Chandler! On Monday, September 4th from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. families can enjoy pizza, roller skating or roller blading and will have the opportunity to meet the Trolls and the Smurfs! Admission is $5. As the summer heat continues here in Arizona, many of you are probably thinking of staying in for Labor Day. Although this may be an option, there are many things to do that could get you out and about while staying cool. You and the family can see breathtaking views of Northern Arizona by visiting Snowbowl’s ski lift. For an easy $10-$15, you can take in what Northern Arizona has to offer. If the kids are too afraid of heights, heading over to the Coconino County Fair might be your best bet. Along with art and entertainment, the kids can enjoy a petting zoo, carnival rides and much more. The fair ends at 4pm, so plenty of time to make it back home.
